Dear Matt,

Hey my name is Jonathon Leon Guerrero, but to some people, I'm LG. I play JV football at Sierra High School. When I found out the recent news of Matt's condition, I literally stopped everything that I was doing. I was completely shocked. Like I didn't know Matt, but now I wish I did. I think one of my coaches, Jeff Abreu, coached him last year at EU. Coach Abreu transferred to Sierra this year. He told me that Matt was a great kid and was a "stud" at football. Anyway, I just wanted to say I'll be praying for Matt, the Van Gelderen family, and his fellow teammates at EU. All of VOL will be wearing # 2, either on their uniforms or their helmets. I know that I'll be wearing # 2, with pride.
