My name is Alma and I am a former student of East Union High School. My brother currently goes to EU.
Although I did not know Matt personally, I still feel a connection to him since we are from the same school.
After hearing the news of Matt's Passing I was in a State of shock...and deeply sadden. I could not believe this young man, who has not had the opportunity to really experience life, be taken away.
I would like Matt's Family and Friends to know that they will be in my prayers and I hope that they will be able to find the strength to carry on. Matt's Spirit will live on as well as the many memories I am sure family and friends can share.

My 6 year old cousin happened to hear of the news as I told my boyfriend of the news. His mother passed away about 2 years ago. The only thing he stated was "Don't Worry, he's with my Mommy now, She'll take care of him."
