Hi my name is Betty Marroquin and I want the family of Matt to know that they are in our prayers here in Patterson. I have nephews that are playing this year and my son played a few years ago and I pray for them everyday just knowing that they are playing football. I have been working with kids at Creekside Middle School for about 8 years and no matter what school you work for, I believe that in every school district, those students belong to you. I feel for the family and it's very sad to know that Matt is no longer with us. He is in our hearts and spirits each and every day. I pray for the family to have strength for what is coming ahead. No words can express the pain that I have for the family being a mother of two, its hurts just to know that a family lost a member from doing something he liked doing.

My thoughts and prayers for the community of Manteca as well as the students at East Union . Stay strong !!!!!
