TO: The Van Gelderen family,

    I am so sorry about what happened.  I did not know Matthew, but that does not make this letter any less sincere.  I am a cheerleader for the Sierra High School freshmen squad.  When the freshman squad heard what had happened, we did all we could.  Katie made buttons that said things like, "Matt #2" and passed them out to other students.  We all had him and your family in our prayers, and know he is safe now in heaven. 

    If there is anything I can do please let me know.  My e-mail address is lilkaykay@yahoo.com .  For now, I am going to continue praying for Matthew and your family.  I will keep coming on this site and doing what I can.  I know what it is like to loose some one so close to you, but do not worry, he is now well taken care of.
