A Letter From:
Dear family of Mat,
My deepest condolences. If I may be so bold, I would like to ask if you have considered donating his organs? My Husband is a recipient of kidney & Pancreas transplant. It has been wonderful. We've met and built a bond with the donor's family. Their precious gift gave my Husband his life back. He was on dialysis and had been a Diabetic since he was 15 years old. That was 6 years ago and my Husband is now a healthy 51 year old man who continues to work, enjoy life and may well see his own Grandchildren be born. None of that would have been likely without the gift of life / organ donation. I respect it is a very personal decision, but please do consider it. Our donor family, The Perez's tell us it gave them a way to make something positive from something tragic. Their son was 16 and died of a brain aneurysm. Their son, Michael was also taken to the hospital where Mat died. Michael's Mother told me of looking out a window down on the ambulances lined up like angels, to accept her son's organs. There gift was able to help 7 people.
Peace be with you.
